Pablo Mendoza studied a Bachelor's degree in Filmmaking at the University Centre for Film Studies of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (CUEC-UNAM) in Mexico City. He was scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education of the Peoples Republic of China to study a Master degree at the Beijing Film Academy (BFA) in Creation and Film Theory. His works have obtained several awards such as the Ariel Award nomination of the Mexican Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for Best Short Film at the 48 Edition of the Ariel Awards for his film Everlasting Red.
